A large number of UK iPad pre-orders have just been updated with a revised delivery date of tomorrow ( 27th May ), a day earlier than originally expected. TNT have posted status as “Please Call” against orders but phone lines are engaged and according to reports on Twitter callers are waiting 30 minutes to get through. Apparently the update given when callers do get through is that Apple have given the couriers an extra day to get deliveries out due to unprecedented demand which is all good news to those of us waiting for our new toys to be delivered, especially with a Bank Holiday weekend coming up !
