Apples Quarterly Earnings Statement

Here are some of the interesting facts and figures from todays conference call by Steve Jobs following Apples quarterly earnings report :-

  • The iPhone App Store will ship its 200,000,000th application tomorrow
  • The milestone of 10 million iPhones in 2008 has already been surpassed and there is still the Xmas rush to go !
  • Apple now the worlds 3rd largest producer of mobile phones
  • This quarter Apple sold 11 million iPods, 6.8 million iPhones and 2.6 million iMacs
  • Quote “as far as we can tell there aren’t a lot of netbook computers being sold” ( Steve Jobs )
