Over on What The Lemur W. Thomas Leroux has a small Applescript that will post the currently playing iTunes track to Twitter so your friends and followers can see what you are listening to. All you have to do is cut and paste the code shown into Script Editor and edit in your Twitter username and password then save as an Application and run it. The script loops through every 3 minutes and if the current track is different to the one playing 3 minutes ago it posts a new Tweet, so obviously if your current track is very short it may be missed.
You ARE interesting, Scott, but I’m not sure I want to know every track you listen to in itunes! Better dealt with at last.fm? http://last.fm/siliconmeadow

Point taken Richard ! Apologies for spamming !
Won’t happen again…
You’ve got to give it a try though, don’t you? No apology necessary. I was just being pernickety.

Pernickety ? Not heard that word in a long time. LOL
When I first ran this script my friends complained that I was spamming them, so what I did was create a second twitter account to post my tunes to. You can change the time between updates to any amount if you won’t want to go to that extreme.

It was interesting. You appear really knowledgeable in your field.
