O2 have today announced that they will be dropping the price of the 8Gb iPhone by £100 to £169. The deal will run until June 1st and is presumably O2′s way of clearing old stock before the widely rumoured announcement of the 3G iPhone.

I am so going to have to get one of these. The price is great but the O2 contracts are still wildly over-priced.
We are now upto three of these phones in the office. Getting Apple phone envy.

I am now definately going to have to get one of these phones. We are up to three iphones in my office and I am getting serious apple coloured envy.
The O2 contracts are still way over priced but if you 'need' one of these phones I guess you'll put up with the monthly contract cost. Of course, the phone can be unlocked to work with any operator but that will make the warrantee invalid.

That is awesome and I am not believing that if it is available in this price. I think PS3's prices also dropped the same way and they have got a lot of sales by doing so. Thanks for the information.
I am sorry to say but I have read some very bad reviews about iPhone and i am not going to purchase it even in that price. I think reviews can make some thing very popular or can make it totally a failure.
