Install OS X on Your Hackintosh PC, No Hacking Required

25 January 2008 2 Comments

Lifehacker.com has an updated article on creating a Hackintosh ( a built it yourself PC that you install OS X onto ) by Adam Pash. This article details how to use the latest tools to install OS X Leopard without having to revert to too much hackery. The resulting PC this time around does not require the OS X DVD to be left in the machine to boot from as the previous version of this guide did.

Scott have you tried this yet - I’m not sure whether to give it ago?

No, I havent. I think you need a pretty specific PC spec ( motherboard etc ) in order to stand a chance of making this work and to be honest I can’t be bothered. My iMac is all the PC I need !
