wow thats a long review. By the sounds of it the Zune sounds a pretty good device but as it doesn’t work with OS X I will stick to my iPod.

I think that is Microsofts key problem Pete. The Zune just isn’t significant enough to make people switch to Microsoft. Sure it does somethings that iPods dont, however it suffers from lack of compatibility with OSX and poor software. In order to make any headway at all into Apples market share they have to come up with a product that is better in a number of significant ways.

iPod nano is very good as a walkaround mp3 player. my only complaint is that the included headphones lack good bass. I replaced it with the Sennheiser CX-300 and the sound was awesome.
