OS X On The Asus Eee PC

16 November 2007 4 Comments

Several reports have appeared today about how to load OS X onto the Asus Eee PC 701, including this one over at Uneasysilence.com. These articles are all the more interesting to me as I have just today taken delivery of a Black Asus Eee PC ( actually for my sons Xmas present but still… ).

I really cant wait to get my hands on a Asus Eee - they are so small yet at such a good price. We have been using a Samsung Q1 at work and without a keyboard they are really limited.

I haver a Vista Q1 at work and it is so slow it is virtually useless.

The Eee is for my youngest son for Xmas but I can’t wait to give it to him. It is really nice bit of kit and he is going to love it.

i added to the wikipedia eee pc page on Saturday hows that for a coincidence?
how does it handle java pages? if i can find a driver for my usb 3g modem i might just get one…
the reviews all over the web say its a fine piece of hardware.

just noticed that it should pick up the t-mobile/ vodaphone/ three usb modem without a problem as the driver is already there :0
