According to this article at Ars Technica Apple is getting the press ready for an announcement at the Regents St Apple Store in London on the 18th of this month ( that’s next Tuesday folks ). The big money has to be on a UK/European iPhone launch although perhaps the event title of ‘Mom is no longer the word’ might suggest something different ?
At least there won’t be long to wait for this one unlike the September 5th event which was rumoured for weeks before.

The latest release of Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0 is now available for download. So far Parallels still has the lead over VMware’s Fusion as far as I can see, although there are some users who claim that Fusion is the superior product. Some of the improvements in build 5160 are shown below :-
