The news sites are buzzing with updates and live reports from todays Special Event and it appears that the rumours have been at least partly correct. The iPod Nano has been revised and it looks as though the photos shown across the net over the last few weeks were in fact real. The Nano now sports a 2 inch colour display and is fully video capable. The screen is full 320×240 resolution making it one of the highest resolution screens available at 204 dpi.
The iPod, now renamed Classic iPod, has been revamped and is now available in capacities up to 160Gb and the casing is now full metal jacket style like the Nano.
Both of these announcements however are dwarfed by the release of the iPod Touch. As was eagerly anticipated by many, myself included, Apple have trimmed the phone out of the iPhone to make the most stunning iPod ever released. Full muti-touch interface, WiFi, Safari web browsing and much more will make this the biggest selling iPod of all time without a doubt. I for one will be waiting for one….
