After an hour of refreshing and waiting and waiting and refreshing I finally managed to get through to the UK Apple Store and onto the iPod Touch page and am now patiently awaiting early October when my new 16Gb iPod will hopefully land on the door step.
Its gonna be a long month !

The news sites are buzzing with updates and live reports from todays Special Event and it appears that the rumours have been at least partly correct. The iPod Nano has been revised and it looks as though the photos shown across the net over the last few weeks were in fact real. The Nano now sports a 2 inch colour display and is fully video capable. The screen is full 320×240 resolution making it one of the highest resolution screens available at 204 dpi.
