Countdown to Something Else… WWDC 2007

11 June 2007 No Comment

OSX LeopardThe Worldwide fever pitch is now at its peak as hundreds of blogs and Mac journals desperately try to out guess each other in predicting the high points of Steve Jobs Keynote speech. With literally only a few hours to go until all becomes clear there is an unbelievable amount of speculation, perhaps more than at any previous event.

Clearly the main thrust of the Keynote has to be round the final feature set of Leopard which alone is enough to generate a mountain of conflicting theories and ideas. Added to that though, we have the rumours surrounding possible new iMac range, the final version of the iPhone, plans for iTunes Music Store to include movie rentals and a whole pile more.

Of course there will be the normal frustrations of not being able to see the Keynote presentation due to overloaded servers and within hours the whole video will doubtless be posted on YouTube and every other video publishing service you can think of.

If you want to try to listen in to the Keynote before the video is available there are some sites such as iPhoneAlley who will be attempting to broadcast a live audio stream.

Best of luck. Back tomorrow with a view on the outcome.
