Parallels 3.0 Released Today

ParallelsToday saw the release of Version 3 of Parallels the market leading virtualisation tool for OS X. Version 3 adds several new features to the already powerful product including support for 3D Graphics allowing Windows games to run at near native speeds, direct access to files on Windows through Finder, virtual machine snapshots and much more.

I have been a Parallels user since the early beta’s and this program just gets better all the time. I have read many articles from VMWare Fusion beta testers that claim that Parallels is the weaker product but from my experience with the two solutions at this point in time Parallels is still well ahead. I have found Fusion to be slower and prone to periods where the keyboard becomes unresponsive and it generally feels like a beta product. Parallels on the other hand has always been very quick and stable in my experience.

If you need to run Windows and OS X then you need Parallels….
