LogMeIn is a solution that allows remote control of PC’s over the Internet which until now has been limited to Microsoft Windows PC’s. A newly launched preview version of the forthcoming solution for Mac OS X is now available for download. This is beta software with known issues and should not be used in a production environment but if you are interested and have a need for this it is the first solution like this that I have seen that supports OS X.
I will certainly be trying this out now I have recently converted my Mom over to a 17″ iMac from her old Win XP machine, in fact the timing is very convenient for me as I was fully expecting the day in the not too distant future where I was going to have to be able to do this.
